Driver that killed linemen in crash without CDL now indicted for murder

A dump truck driver involved in a crash that killed four linemen will be indicted for murder this week.

66-year-old dump truck driver Michael Ray Vernon failed to stop at a stop sign in Eden, North Carolina this past April, causing him to crash into a crew of linemen. Four men died as a result of the incident.

According to MyFox8, Vernon was previously charged with with one count of failing to stop for a stop sign, one count of operating a commercial motor vehicle without a valid CDL and 4 counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle…
