Beloved San Antonio burger joint temporarily closes ahead of big move

San Antonio superfans of Cuatro de Kilo are going to have to find another burger joint to quell their meaty cravings. The famed Mexican burger chain has shuttered its restaurant at 12411 Bandera Rd #108 in Helotes as it prepares to relocate to 12370 FM 1957 #101.

The restaurant announced the temporary closure in an Instagram grid photomontage that read, in part, “We’re moving to a bigger and better location on Potranco. Thank you, Helotes, for all the love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new spot soon.”

Cuatro de Kilo did not reveal the exact address in the posts, but a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) spilled the beans on the 2,100 square foot build-out in the Grosen Crossing Center…
