Bothell resident files class-action lawsuit against Sig Sauer over ‘defectively designed’ handgun

A man from Bothell filed a class action lawsuit on Monday against the gun manufacturer, Sig Sauer, alleging the company sold its P320 handgun with a safety defect that caused the gun to fire without the trigger being pulled.

Patrick Schreiber purchased a P320 in 2021 and claims the firearm is “defectively designed,” further stating that Sig Sauer did not disclose any safety concerns, according to the lawsuit.
