ANN ARBOR, MI — Patients and families at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor enjoyed an early holiday celebration Tuesday, as Santa Claus himself led a parade around the 12th floor.
The fifth annual Mott Thanksgiving Parade was a partnership between the hospital and the Parade Co., which produces America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade each year in Detroit. Parade sponsor Gardner White provided enough stuffed Teddy bears for every patient at the hospital.
Michigan Medicine sponsors a float each year as part of the annual parade down Detroit’s Woodward Avenue. Parade Co. President Tony Michaels said the Mott event was a highlight of his year.
