BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The driver of a Dodge Charger is recovering after crashing into the back of another vehicle on a rainy day in Lamont.
Both drivers were transported to Kern Medical Center on Nov. 17, after a rear-end crash that involved a Toyota Corolla on Di Giorgio Road, the California Highway Patrol said. The Corolla was occupied by two women, officials said.

Investigating officers said the Corolla was traveling eastbound on Di Giorgio Road, just west of San Diego Street, at a slow rate of speed due to heavy rain when she was hit from behind by the Dodge Charger.
