A Massachusetts man who served more than 50 years in prison after a murder conviction was granted parole last month.
Neal Parham, 71, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole in 1975 after a botched robbery of a taxicab driver and a passenger in Jamaica Plain led to the passenger’s fatal stabbing.
He was also found guilty of armed robbery and assault to rob and received a seven to 10-year sentence to run concurrently with his life sentence…
