25 dogs in ‘deplorable conditions’ rescued by Christian County Animal Shelter

HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – 25 dogs are now being housed at the Christian County Animal Shelter after being rescued from a home in nearby Todd County. The shelter was called to the residence on Tuesday, with the assistance of Todd County Animal Control.

“They were rescued from deplorable conditions in Todd County today,” said a statement from the shelter. “They have been processed and will be posted as soon as we can get better pictures. Most are very scared right now and are going to need some time to relax.”

The rescues are a victim of animal cruelty due to the conditions of the home and are all Corso mix dogs of various ages.
