DOVER, Tenn. (WSMV) – On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the Stewart County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reported that an investigator was entering the courthouse when he saw a man sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot with expired tags.
The investigator went inside the courthouse to handle his court cases, and when he came back outside, he saw the man was still sitting in his vehicle. The investigator gave the man a “friendly” reminder about his expired tags.
According to the SCSO, the man seemed very nervous and suspicious, so the investigator ran the tags. Not only were the tags expired, SCSO said, but they also allegedly belonged to another vehicle…
