Cuyahoga judge reassigned amid allegations of improper investigation in street takeover case

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cuyahoga County judge was reassigned from a case Monday amid allegations that she improperly investigated a woman she had sent to prison for Cleveland street takeovers.

The case involves Ashlyn Rogers, 23, of Port Clinton, who is serving an 18-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to fourth- and fifth-degree felonies for helping direct seven takeovers in Cleveland last year.
