A Jacksonville mother of four has been missing for more than 40 days after she was last seen heading to a neighborhood gas station, and her family is begging for answers.
Thirty-two-year-old Kamela Johnson was last seen by her husband, Darrell Johnson, on Oct. 8 and was most likely headed to Gate gas station at 5508 Moncrief Road, according to police records and reports. Darrell filed a missing person report on Oct. 16 when Kamela did not return.
Family members describe the missing 32-year-old as someone who always checked in and they’re calling her current silence deeply unusual. “She has never, ever disappeared before. She has never not tried to reach out to family,” Sharonda Muller, Kamela’s mother, told People.
