Three injured after crash involving KAT bus, City of Knoxville truck

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Three people went to a hospital with minor injuries after a crash involving a Knoxville Area Transit bus and a City of Knoxville truck on Wednesday morning.

The Knoxville Police Department said the crash happened at the intersection of South Concord Street and Kingston Pike. Three people, the bus driver, a bus passenger and a city employee, went to the hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries, KPD said.

KPD explained that a City of Knoxville Public Service truck stopped at the intersection at a light when the KAT bus rear-ended the trailer the truck was pulling.
