Fugitive caught in attic after K-9 injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was found in an attic in Tipton County by multiple law enforcement agencies and taken into custody on Tuesday after running from a traffic stop in Southaven, Miss., that left a K-9 officer seriously injured last week.

Tuesday afternoon, the Southaven Police Department and the Tipton County Sheriff’s Office said that Ronald “Bubba” Pilkington was taken into custody and is being taken to the Tipton County Jail.

TCSO said Pilkington was taken into custody around 4:40 p.m. with the help of members of the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Memphis Safe Task Force.
