BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man was arrested by the Gonzales Police Department (GPD) in connection with a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday night.
Officers responded around 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 to the 900 block of West Tony Street, where they found Jonathan King, 22, unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. GPD said officers provided medical aid until paramedics arrived, but King later died from his injuries.
Police identified the suspected shooter as Darius Mosby, 24, who they said fled the scene before officers arrived. Information provided to the 911 Communications Center helped direct law enforcement to his location…
