Teen sentenced to probation in shooting that left friend dead in El Paso

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A teen was sentenced to seven years of probation in a shooting that left another teen dead, according to online court records obtained by KFOX14/CBS4.

Alan Mora was sentenced on Nov. 3 to Criminal Negligent Homicide in the Oct. 7, 2024, shooting that killed 18-year-old Jesus Alberto Gonzalez.

Mora, who was arrested in January in connection with the shooting, was sentenced to seven years of probation and 300 hours of community service, court records state…
