Equine virus outbreak prompts cancellation of championship in Guthrie

GUTHRIE, Okla. (KFOR) — A highly contagious and potentially deadly virus impacting horses has made its way to Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF) has confirmed two cases of Equine Herpes Myleoencephalopathy, the neurologic form of EHV-1.
