GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The New Community Shelter officially broke ground on a $14 million supportive housing project aimed at providing stable, long-term housing and on-site services for adults experiencing chronic homelessness.
The project will add 41 supportive housing units, giving residents access to case management, life-skills training, mental health and AODA support, and other proven programs.

“This project completes the final piece of our continuum of care,” said Terri Refsguard, CEO of New Community Shelter. “For more than 30 years, we’ve helped people rebuild their lives. Now, we can offer long-term housing so our most vulnerable residents never have to experience homelessness again.”
