SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – A Marshfield couple had an unexpected delivery in a Buc-ee’s parking lot.
Expectant parents Nathan and Jena Birdsong could not make it to the hospital last Friday morning, making it as far as the Buc-ee’s parking lot in Springfield. While speaking with 911 dispatchers and Mercy Hospital staff by phone, Nathan helped his wife deliver their daughter, Elaina Grace Birdsong.
Despite the chaotic circumstances, both mother and baby are in perfect health…
