A Hays County man accused of repeatedly drugging and sexually abusing the teenage daughter of a friend has been sentenced to a total of 218 years in prison.
Richard Santa Ana, 44, of Kyle, was sentenced after being convicted on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact, according to the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office.
District Judge Joe Pool ordered the sentences to run consecutively, according to the district attorney’s office. Santa Ana must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, and a lifetime protective order has been put in place against him on behalf of the victim…
