Cali Family Bakery Opening CO Outposts

Valerio’s Family Bakeshop has announced it is expanding into Colorado, led by the granddaughter of the original owners and her husband. Their first entry into the state will be in Colorado Springs, though they have not secured a location yet but are actively searching for the right site.

“We are still looking for a location for a storefront,” co-owner Janel Valerio Yandura told What Now Denver. “Right now, we have a fully running food truck. We hope to have a brick-and-mortar within the next year or two.”

In the meantime, the couple will begin introducing themselves to the community through pop-ups along the Front Range. The bakery, originally from California, offers Filipino breads, pastries, cakes, and sweet treats, its menu shows. It has a loyal following in its home state, where family members still run the business…
