ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — A motorcycle driver is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, according to the Albuquerque Police Department. Police say it happened near Headline Boulevard and Tiburon Street, which is off of Paseo Del Norte Boulevard NE.
Officers responded to the crash at about 2:20 p.m. According to witnesses, a truck stopped and tried to exit a nearby parking lot. At the same time, a motorcycle downshifted and “popped a wheely” while accelerating. The motorcycle struck the driver’s side of the truck. The motorcycle driver died on the scene. The truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
