NEW YORK (PIX11) – A new federal SNAP rule impacts adults who may qualify for benefits.
To continue receiving SNAP benefits beyond three months within a three-year period, adults must follow work rules, according to the USDA.
These new rules, known as the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) time limit, have now been implemented by the Trump administration. ABAWD-identified individuals will be required to comply with the ABAWD requirements.
