A man accused of several stints as a thief is now facing a new career as a jailbird.
Conneze Canary Redmond III, 26, of Hermitage, was arrested in Nashville on Thursday, Nov. 13 on charges related to burglary in Dickson County on Veterans Day. The arrest was made possible thanks to the combined efforts of several law enforcement agencies, including the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office and the White Bluff Police Department.
According to WBPD Sgt. Michael Quigley, Redmond was first seen around 2:30 in the morning on Tuesday, Veterans Day, Nov. 11, allegedly speeding in a green Chevrolet Impala on Highway 47 near the fire station in White Bluff while driving on a suspended license. When Quigley and his partner tried to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle, which had been heading southbound, then reversed course and headed north towards Charlotte before it turned into a field off Steele Road. Redmond then exited the vehicle, along with a male passenger, and the two reportedly ran into the field. Quigley said they were able to identify Redmond from trail cams in the area and from footage taken of Redmond several days prior at the Dickson Wal-Mart, where he was reportedly arrested for theft by the Dickson Police Department and had been driving the Impala at the time…
