The criminal trial for the former executive director of the Erie Humane Society has been moved to next year.
According to court paperwork, Nicole Leone’s new trial date has been scheduled for February 2, 2026.

This marks the fourth time the trial has been moved, dating back to the original trial date of April 7, 2025.
Leone is accused of stealing around $32,000 from the Humane Society.
