Two Fort Wayne settlements total more than $1 million

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — According to public documents obtained by WANE 15, the city of Fort Wayne recently paid out more than $1 million in two settlements from 2024 involving the Fort Wayne Fire Department.

The first involved the death of Taryn Michelle Burger, 38, who died at a nail salon on Illinois Road in May of 2024.
