WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Winston-Salem police say they’ve made an arrest after two armed robberies at local tobacco and vape shops this week — including one reported Wednesday night.
Officers were first called on Tuesday, Nov. 18, to NNA Smoke EMC on University Parkway around 8:20 p.m. Investigators say two men came into the store, showed what appeared to be weapons, stole cash, and ran off. No one was hurt.
A day later, on Wednesday, Nov. 19, officers responded just after 8 p.m. to Northwest Tobacco & Vape on Northwest Boulevard, where two men again walked in with what looked like weapons and stole cash and merchandise before taking off. No injuries were reported in that case either…
