MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Theodore man has received two life sentences for homicide and attempted murder, according to a news release from Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.

On March 22, 2024, court documents say Johnson shot and killed Cory Evans and wounded a female victim at a home on Lundy Lane. After returning to the crime scene from attempting to dispose of the weapon, he was arrested.
During the trial, Johnson claimed he was acting in self-defense and in defense of others. However, the jury rejected this defense and found him guilty as charged.
