(KRON) — Police tased a man barricaded inside a Petaluma apartment building on the 5100 block of Montero Way Wednesday.
Petaluma Police Department officers responded to the building around 5:22 p.m. after 28-year-old Zeno Salinas-Rurales allegedly broke into a resident’s room.

“Officers located the suspect barricaded inside the room, which belongs to a resident who was not home at the time,” Petaluma PD said. “The suspect repeatedly slammed the door, threw objects inside the room, and ignored numerous verbal commands.”
Salinas-Rurales allegedly armed himself with various weapons, including scissors, a chair and a bicycle frame. He then started trashing the room.
“The suspect escalated his behavior by smashing a lamp through the window, sending glass shards toward the officers standing outside and narrowly missing them.” Petaluma PD said. “Additional items were thrown out of the window, and the suspect continued to cause extensive damage within the room.”…
