“There would not be a Unity Park today without Mary Ducket…” those the words of Greenville Mayor Knox White. Ducket worked alongside City leaders to plan Unity Park and just last week spoke at the grand opening of the Thomas and Vivian A. Wong Honor Tower.
Mary Duckett, the beloved and deeply respected President of Southernside Neighborhood in Action, passed away Sunday at the age of 85.
The Mary Francis Ducket plaza at Unity park was named in her honor by Spero Financial.
