RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – Virginia State Police is investigating two crashes on Central Virginia interstates that caused major delays overnight.

Several people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash on southbound I-295 near Interstate 64 just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
“A tractor-trailer struck two truck-mounted attenuator vehicles and two pickup trucks that were part of a stationary pothole repair work zone,” state police said. “One of the pickup trucks was operated by a civilian; the other vehicles were associated with the work crew.”…
