Oak Cliff Gas Station Shooting Sends Person to Hospital

A Monday night stop at an Oak Cliff gas station turned violent when a person was shot outside and rushed to a hospital, according to police. Officers were called just before 8 p.m. to the 2500 block of South Hampton Road, where the victim had already been taken from the scene in a private vehicle. Authorities have not released the victim’s name or condition.

Investigators have not said why the shooting happened or whether the victim and shooter knew each other, and the case remains open, according to FOX 4.

Investigation Still Active

Dallas police have not released the victim’s name or condition and have not said whether anyone is in custody. Detectives are continuing to process the scene and follow up on leads, according to FOX 4. So far, authorities have not shared a case number or other public details…
