A 59-year-old woman died after being hit by a vehicle at 7300 Dixie Drive in Houston on August 23, 2025. Police say a 17-year-old male was driving a red Toyota Tacoma and struck the woman as she crossed at the intersection with Telephone Road. Officers cited the driver for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.
The woman was hospitalized after the crash and released on November 5. On November 17, paramedics responded to her home, where she was pronounced dead.
