Little Rock psychologist indicted for alleged $500,000 Medicare and insurance fraud scheme

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — A Little Rock psychologist, Krameelah Banks, has been indicted on multiple charges, including wire fraud and making false statements, for allegedly defrauding Medicare and Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

The indictment claims Banks, 48, billed for thousands of hours of nonexistent psychology services, causing insurers to lose over $500,000.

Among the allegations, Banks is accused of billing for therapy sessions with patients who had passed away and for services supposedly rendered while she was vacationing in Florida and Mexico…
