SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A 22-year-old man is now behind bars after the Halloween night shooting on E. Commercial Street.
Police gave an update to Ozarks First that the victim, who was shot in the head, is still alive and in the hospital. The man is currently in stable condition.

“I happened to notice that there was a body on the ground, and I was like, ‘Oh, my God,’” exclaimed Tammy McDaniel, who lives next door to where the shooting happened.
