Lookout PM: ICE arrests in Eugene, Springfield

ICE officers were on the streets in Eugene and Springfield today, arresting at least 11 people, according to immigrant advocates. They said families of detainees they’d spoken to were mostly from Central and South America. Jaime Adame has been following the story.

A Eugene couple was in Washington, D.C. today, testifying before a U.S. Senate committee about the Affordable Care Act. Bartley Armitage told senators his plan’s premiums are set to more than quadruple if Congress takes no action to extend subsidies that will expire at the end of the year. Ashli Blow reports…
