EUGENE, Ore. -Firefighters encountered a vehicle fire on westbound Beltline while en route to a medical call on Tuesday morning and quickly extinguished the blaze in short order, according to Eugene Springfield Fire officials.
ESF authorities said that they discovered the vehicle fire at about 7:10 a.m. on Nov. 18. The vehicle was stopped outside of the travel lanes, but traffic was affected as crews worked to extinguish the fire. A battalion chief and a water tender were also dispatched to the scene…
