Las Vegas library district opens second passport service location

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Library District opened a second passport services office on Wednesday, offering a valuable resource to community members.

Las Vegas residents might not know that the Library District has offered passport services at the Windmill Library location since 2017. On Wednesday, the district opened a second location at the Rainbow Library in order to offer services to more community members.

“The Library District is committed to providing services that meet real-world needs—and access to passport services is a perfect example,” Kelvin Watson, Executive Director the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, said at a ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday. “As more families travel, relocate, or need identification to access opportunities, the demand for passport processing has grown. By expanding this service to Rainbow Library, we are helping residents navigate an essential federal process in a familiar, trusted, and convenient community space.”…
