POTOMAC, Md. (DC News Now) — The reality TV series “Real Housewives of Potomac” (RHOP) is back in the headlines after former cast member, Mia Fields-Thornton, was arrested in Atlanta, Ga.
The Atlanta Police Department said Thornton was arrested at the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Nov. 19 in connection with an active warrant.

In a statement released by the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to the airport after receiving a call from the Customs and Border Protection office for a wanted person. Officers learned that Thornton had a warrant out for her arrest related to a larceny involving an alleged furniture theft.
Body-worn camera video showed the former cast member being walked out of the airport in handcuffs.
Officers took Thornton to Fulton County Jail for processing.
