MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An intoxicated man wearing a hospital wristband died Friday after slipping off a bridge and falling onto the bed of a Parks Department truck on Randall’s Island, sources said Wednesday.
The inebriated 47-year-old man was spotted walking across the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge towards Randall’s Island, and when he tried to sit down, he lost his balance and landed on the truck bed, sources said.

A Parks Department worker found the unidentified man lying on the back of the truck in a closed-off area of the park near Bronx Shore and Central roads at around 7:21 a.m., according to the NYPD.
