Allegiant announces new St. Pete-Clearwater to Trenton, NJ direct flights

Connections to and from the northeast are about to get a lot easier—and cheaper. Allegiant Airlines announced a new nonstop route connecting St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) and Trenton, New Jersey’s Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN).

The PIE-TTN route will officially launch on February 20, 2026, with the airline offering one-way fares as low as $49 to celebrate the addition of the connection. The news came as part of 30 new routes being announced by Allegiant, which has a hub at PIE.

The announcement is a boon for people on both sides of the new route. The many New Jersey transplants in the area now have a direct and easy way home.
