PHOTOS: Driver transported by helicopter after Crawford Co. crash

(WJET/WFXP)– One person had to be flown to the hospital on Wednesday after their car went off the road and left them trapped.

According to the Cambridge Springs Fire Department, calls went out for that crash around 4:03 in Cambridge Boro, with the vehicle off the road and in the woods.

Firefighters said the driver was trapped in the car, which was about 150 yards off the road and appeared to have gone down an embankment and suffered heavy damage.

Once they were able to get the driver out, firefighters said they had to be flown by Stat MedEvac to the hospital for treatment…
