KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A Meijer donated $10,000 to the Kent County Animal Shelter.

As part of the “Meijer Team Gives” program, a Standale Meijer (store #216) donated $10,000 to the Kent County Animal Shelter to support several programs including medical care for animals and behavioral enrichment, according to Kent County officials.
“We’re grateful to the Standale Meijer team for choosing to support the important work happening at our Animal Shelter,” Angela Hollinshead, director of the Kent County Animal Shelter, said. “This gift strengthens our ability to care for animals, reunite pets with residents, and support responsible pet ownership across the county.”
