Well, what happened to this couple in Kalamazoo recently was no work of fiction, but it has led to a remarkable story.

Imagine you’ve moved into your first house together and are doing some run-of-the-mill construction on the kitchen, knocking down a wall to create extra space. Usually, people don’t find century-old coins, maps, newspapers, and more tucked between the wall and the ceiling, but that’s precisely what happened for Alayna Pletcher.
Pletcher Finds Treasure In Her Wall
Upon ripping the wall out of their kitchen, the Pletchers realized there were items in the space between the wall studs. The gap contained boxes of old coins, such as buffalo coins and cash, as well as maps, drawings, floral prints, scrolls, newspapers, and more. This led Alayna to start a “Treasure Hunters” series on her TikTok.
