Woman sues, awarded $5M in Lexington dog bite case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington woman was awarded millions of dollars after a dog attack that happened three years ago.

Sarah Bogusewski filed a lawsuit against the dogs’ owners and the property owner on Glendover Road in March 2022.

After a three-day trial, the jury awarded Bogusewski $5 million in punitive damages on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
