(WAVY) — While the Virginia Department of Health reopened the condemned shellfish area in Broad Bay following a Nov. 10 sewage spill that’s part of a 10 On Your Side investigation, there are continuing concerns about a sewage pumping facility on Bay Island that dumped 1,000 gallons of raw sewage into the bay — and how it happened.
No one wants to raw sewage on their street, on their lawns, in the water, or the smell in the air.
