Corpus Christi, TX Weather Alert: Storm Chances Friday Morning Until Monday Night

Corpus Christi, TX – Above-normal temperatures are expected to continue across the Coastal Bend from early Friday morning until Monday night, with the National Weather Service Corpus Christi office forecasting a low to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms each day through the start of next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will feature highs between 84 and 90 degrees with a 20–45% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly during the afternoon and evening. Warm, humid air from the Gulf continues to support instability, though widespread storms are not expected.

Saturday brings similar conditions, with highs ranging from 81 to 88 degrees and storm chances increasing slightly to 35–55%, especially east of Highway 281. Moist onshore flow will keep overnight lows mild, staying in the upper 60s to mid-70s.

Sunday’s forecast calls for highs between 81 and 91 degrees, with a 20–40% chance of showers and storms throughout the day. Any storms that develop will be brief but capable of producing gusty winds and locally heavy downpours…
