EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — U.S. Border Patrol agents, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Public Safety, uncovered and stopped a smuggling operation in Downtown El Paso on Tuesday, according to CBP officials.
In a statement emailed to KFOX14/CBS4 on Thursday, CBP officials said they disrupted a smuggling operation on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. when agents identified a black van transporting multiple migrants on Interstate 10, prompting a low-speed pursuit through downtown El Paso.
