Busy stretch of Westheimer where Houston nursing student and dozens of others were killed labeled ‘pedestrian death zone’

HOUSTON, Texas — Eight lanes of traffic with cars and trucks often moving faster than they should makes navigating Westheimer Road on foot a potentially hazardous, and sometimes deadly, risk.
