Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) has announced its holiday schedule for Thanksgiving Day and Acadian Day. The schedule affects services on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, 2025.
On Thanksgiving Day, Lafayette Transit System will suspend all services. Normal operations will resume on Friday. Paratransit riders can schedule or cancel future rides on Thanksgiving morning by calling 337-235-8976.
Acadiana Waste Services will not collect garbage or recycling on Thursday. Thursday routes will be serviced on Friday, and Friday routes on Saturday, November 29. Residents may place extra bagged trash beside their carts after the holiday…
