OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – A stretch of Illinois Route 2 reopens after a deadly crash Thursday, according to the Ogle County sheriff.
Deputies were called to what they described as a “serious crash” in the 7000 block of S. Illinois Route 2, just north of Grand Detour. Around 6:30 p.m. Nov. 20, an alert asked drivers to avoid the area.
Later, Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle said the crash involved a fatality. Further details about the crash have not been shared…
