BELOIT, Wis. — Officials from the City of Beloit announced that the location for the police chief swearing-in ceremony has changed.
Commander Schonella Stewart was previously set to have her swearing-in ceremony at the Beloit Public Library, but Beloit College’s Eaton Chapel, located at 700 College Street, was chosen to accommodate all guests. The time and date remain the same.
A free shuttle will be offered by Beloit Transit between the Downtown Beloit Transit Transfer Center (225 Shirland Ave) and Beloit College due to limited on-campus parking. Shuttle rides will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and will return guests once the event is over…
